Hotel Habita_MTY Mexico

In the business district of Monterrey Mexico, the Mexican architect Agustín Landa and the Parisian interior designer Joseph Dirand have created this elegant, minimalist hotel.

Spaces are sleek and spare, full of scattered Modern elements like Swan Chairs by Arne Jacobsen and furniture from designer Rick Owens. Indian mirror mosaics, large patches of raw concrete and touches of black onyx marble fit nicely into the overall aesthetic of clean-lined minimalism.

The Habita Monterrey houses 28 rooms, ten suites and one penthouse with private living room, gym and terrace. Each room comes equipped with Aesop amenities, flat screen television, wireless Internet, iPod dock station, Xbox Elite and Nokia N810 Tablet. Hotel facilities include two rooftop pools, a wellness fitness centre, steam room, sauna and business centre with meeting space for up to 12 people. The cool concrete roof bar offers stunning 360-degree views over the desert metropolis and Sierra Madre beyond, while the first-storey terrace serves as the ideal location in which to enjoy Chef Enrique Olvera’s gastronomic masterpieces.

@ellesapelle yes! Me too, and thank you very much x

  2. I love the concrete and the black & white interiors.

I also love your site, it’s full of inspiration!

  3. I lived in Mexico for a year but didn’t make it to Monterrey. Another reason to go back and another case for tiled/concrete floors.

  4. I need to tell my brother about this place. He goes to Monterrey annually.
